HI Unreal forum,
How can i change the direction of the movement on the object?
In the first image (material), the direction of movement looks correct, but on the model… flows from left to right. I want it to flow from top to bottom too. Thank you!

Hey @KirilSevov! Welcome to the forums!
So this is definitely a UV problem.
You can try using X instead of Y here if you don’t want to re-UV wrap the static mesh.
Now, if you want it to go left and right AND up and down, you can add Y and X values here, as well as mess with the Utiling and Vtiling in the previous node (TexCoord(0)).
hey can you help me pls i need so much help PLS
Hey, @malek, no need to panic, all is well.
There isn’t much I can do to help though, I more or less gave you any assistance I could- if you could let me know what you’ve tried, what is or is not working, I could help more.
Also, looking at your other posts, I understand you’re new to Unreal, and there are a lot of building blocks that you can use to put together the things you’re trying to do! I have a really in-depth tutorial aimed at beginners that really covers so many things, I think you’ll have a much deeper understanding and higher confidence if you do it!
thanks so much and i have a qq Do you know Fears to Fathom can i make a game like it using ue5 or not
You absolutely can do that, @malek! For a game like that most of the work would go into building the aesthetic, but that is usually the final part of the development cycle. But yes, not only do I recommend using Unreal Engine 5 for that as a moderator here, I also recommend it as a developer myself because UE5 is built with games like this in mind!
thank you so so much do you have discord server? cuz ineed you man
Unfortunately, we don’t pass out personal information across the forums, however, there is the unofficial UE5 discord! https://unrealslackers.org/
But- I can’t stress this enough- you really should do that entire tutorial before moving forward. You’ll save yourself so much time and energy and you’ll be very able to do many of the things you’re asking for!
Then, when you start hitting some tough road blocks as everyone does while developing, we’ll still be here on the forum! Also you can feel free to send me a personal message here if you’d rather- but if we find a solution to a problem you’re having it’s always good to have it public so others can find it!
Hi Mind brain…
I’m sure I wrote this before, but I guess my message didn’t reach you. Thank you so much!
You’re very welcome @KirilSevov!
Did that help solve your issue?
Yes Mind Brain, it helped me understand, entirely my fault. I recreated the object och UV. and the result… Blue effect.
Thank you again.
