How can I capture spatialized audio from a certain part of the scene and output to a source bus?

The question is simple - how can I capture spatialized audio from a certain part of the scene using a particular gain, and output it to a source bus, or something similar that would allow me to mix it with with other mics and output to a virtual speaker? I’m trying to make a virtual mic component that can be passed around the scene, and picks up audio in a certain radius around it, and I honestly have no idea how to approach this. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m using Steam Audio in my project if that matters.
