How can i backup my mod files?

Hello everyone.
Sorry, my English is not good. I have a question. I must formatting my harddrive. How can i backup my mod files for reusing, editing after new Windows and ARK Dev Kit installing?

the easiest way is go to “C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ARKDevKit\Projects\ShooterGame\Content\Mods” and copy your mod folder to a thumb drive or cd or a backup drive.

I have a question more about that.

Doing this, after reinstall ADK and I will cook any of my projects, they will keep automaticaly the same ModID on Workshop?

Or I need to save the .vdf files on as well?

You will also need to backup your


**mod.db**

file located at


C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ARKDevKit\Projects\ShooterGame\Saved

for the mods to cook to the same mod ids.
