Hey. I made a character in DAZ3D and imported it into Unreal Engine. I know how to retarget the Daz character to work with the UE Skeleton. I know how to retarget animations from animation packs to the Daz character as well.
BUT im stuck on the cloth. My Daz character in the sequencer for my cinematic flies. The animations work perfect. But I don’t know how to animate the cape.
Any one know how?
You need to simulate the cloth within UE, I suggest looking at YouTube on Cloth simulation, in most cases you’re painting in the simulated area of the cloth and adjusting the animation capsules for movement within the blueprint, it’s too complex to explain in a few words so it’s best looking for up to date videos for the UE version you’re using.

You can just google cloth simulation for UE and you get good results but here is one i found was interesting among many tutorial links.
