I'm working on a kindergarden project and in need of children cutout figures
So here's what you could do:
1-create a cutout in photoshop, and make sure the pixels outside the character are transparent. export the file with transparency as png.
2-create a plane in TM, shape it to an appropriate size, something around 40cm x 180cm.
3-create a material in TM, set the texture to color channel and turn the opacity filter on.
4-assign the texture to the plane and adjust the x y scale sliders accordingly.
here's a screen recording showing how:

the other side of the plane is mirrored apparently, and i'm this is an UV issue. if you have the chance, you could properly UV map a plane in another 3d software like 3ds max, rhino or blender, and evade this problem.
actually i just found another method. TM library already has cutouts and they even follow the camera. however with this method you cant resize the texture, so you'll have to make sure they're prepared properly when exporting from photoshop. here's this method: https://capture.dropbox.com/s0hZqElBXHKA0OVo
Thank you so much for the tips!
I will def. try both methods and see which one is suitable!
