This is an old project, I’m releasing a playable demo from this house.
It’s running at 60-70 FPS on a Geforce 970. I Have not optimized for VR, I will do it when I get some time.
Use the console by pressing ´0´key (not the keypad)
Okay, firstly, your lighting inside is amazing. I love it. Great materials/textures also. Some I think could be scaled a bit smaller like the walls. The pool texture is a bit bumpy for calm water and also looked a little too static. The glass in the windows could also use some refraction. Lastly, I’d finish the ladder for the pool. Those are small and nit picky. The layout and feel of the house is wonderful. Only thing I saw that you missed was a light over the toilet downstairs. The upstairs is SO nice. The collision boxes seem a bit big for everything. For instance, you can’t walk too close to anything or even get into the closet upstairs.
Thanks Rafael! The scene is really nice. Is it possible to walk a bit faster?? The overall materials and lighting are top notch. Also the exposure transition between exterior and interior is really nicely made. Congrats!
My only issue is what JOhnRose81 said about the collision boxes.
bests!
Very nice work. Love the lighting and materials. Like previously mentioned, the character scale is a little off. My initial thoughts was that the character height seemed short, especially in the kitchen. There is collision issues there as well so it was a little difficult to navigate without hitting an invisible wall. Overall, really nice though!
Downloading as well, thanks! One thing to note is that character scale will need to be corrected prior to VR optimization.
EDIT: Beautiful work. Just a few small tweaks that other people didn’t mention:
Maybe check the lightmap on your TV in front of the couch? Some shadows are leaking around the edges. The can lights in the kitchen should probably have something inside them, even if it is just a glass sphere. The collision box in the first bedroom closet upstairs is messy. The concrete texture on the side of the house could use some love - the cracks and aberrations don’t look precise.
All in all, very good work. Your reflections are wonderful.
