Hello i am new UE user.
I am learning material making currently
I tried to put RGB node in and when i press 3+Left mouse click nothing happens doesnt matter if i hold it or not No hotkey shorcut is working inside the editor
Didnt have problems with any hotkeys untill now
My numlock is on so it cant be that problem
Please can anyone tell me how do i fix this problem ? I cant move anywhere without it

Hello Valcoj, Welcome to the Forums.
Since you mentioned numlock, I wonder if you’re only trying to use the 3 key on your num-pad? (I just tested and this does not work.)
You’d want to be holding ‘3’ on the row of keys above your keyboard letters and then left-clicking in the material graph.
If you go into Edit → Editor Preferences and search for ‘material editor - spawn nodes’ you can make sure that the hotkeys are still set “MaterialExpressionConstant3Vector” in this case…
Well i also tried to press
3 or š above my keys it still doesnt work could it be maybe because i use slovak keyboard ?
Do other shortcuts for the material graph work? (Like holding ‘A’ for add)
If you try to modify one of those keybindings with the ‘3’ button, does it stay the same?
On AZERTY keyboards it looks like you need to hold SHIFT to use the numbers - I wonder if the same is true for QWERTZ keyboards?
Do you have a QUERTY keyboard to test with?
