Sleeping Rooms

Working flash-light with distance render (most of the game will be very dark, a lot of fog and dust in the air… Flashlight will be the players main weapon/handheld - you will be able to upgrade flashlight, find new ones, change batteries etc)

and finally an unlit version of the sleeping room for all you people that want to see details
Let me know on what you think or how i could make it better
Looks good as a start- I would work on the windows and try and improve those- they look very shiny and unrealistic in comparison to the rest of the environment (I would go with a tinted/frosted translucent shader with lots of nice detail in the glass from normal maps). Nice floor textures and props!
Good start! You just have to improve the lightning + add some effects (e.g a thunderstorm outside -> blinking light + sound effects, ambient dust,…). As EoinOBroin already mentioned, you will also have to improve the window material so that it looks more like glass + you could add some moonlight which will go through the window
Thanks for the ideas! Was looking at putting real glass in the windows and adding a moonlight effect through them… Most of the game will be VERY dark though…
The dusty effect is a great idea! Thanks for that, makes it seem more old and as if it has been deserted…
Textures are good, and the environment is awesome - but all I can see is black shadows everywhere. Why do you do this? :s Even Amnesia, Silent Hill, Resident Evil - None of these games are ever completely 100% dark. Work on that lighting! Show your work!
