''Holes'' in mesh when using nanite

If anyone is still having trouble with this even with the above solutions:
Set “Trim Relative Error” To some value above 0.


As you can see the only thing I changed from the top picture was the Trim Relative Error, set to 0.1 instead of 0, and the holes are gone.

Holes may still appear as distance from the mesh increases. Adjust the value until you get a result you can live with.
