Hole on Tiled Landscape in PIE

Hello All,

I just imported and painted a massive tiled landscape (perhaps not that massive, as it is 6 km2), the resolution is 14,791x14,791 and the total component count is 841.

Only when I play in editor do I have an issue–a massive square hole appears in the landscape further down from the camera. When I come close the tiles reappear, but from far away the holes pop in. What do I do to fix this problem?

Which version of the engine are you on? There were some problems with terrain streaming in 5.0.3.
5.1 Seems to have fixed some of those problems.

5.0.3 indeed. If what you say is the case, then I’m going to have to wait a long time for all of my plugins to update to the new version!

There was also a bug when you have landscapes in HLOD. (it would usually cause an out of memory crash).

It may be a long shot but try excluding the landscapes from HLOD and see it this has an effect on the weird culling.
