[Hobby/RevShare] Studio Greylight is looking for Unreal Engine Developers for "Novasis" (Sandbox MMORPG)

:magnifying_glass_tilted_right: Studio Greylight is forming a dedicated team to bring Novasis to life—an ambitious sandbox MMORPG set in a player-driven universe blending Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Steampunk, Dystopia, and Cosmic Horror into a vast science-fantasy multiverse. Novasis is settled on the main stage of the Marshlandverse - Thrya the third Pillar. Next to common MMORPG systems, mechanics and huge open world maps, a big part is going to be the weekly Arcboss attacks on the city of Novasis, guild sieges, player driven economy, the franchise own powersystem of the 12 Prime-Essences and much more !

This is a passionate volunteer project with a built-in Revenue-Share model for the long haul. The creative vision, core lore, and an expanding pipeline of 2D/3D visual assets are firmly established. What we need now is the technical core to drive the implementation forward.

:laptop: THE PRIORITY ROLE: Unreal Engine Developer (Blueprints and/or C++)

We are actively hunting for developers who can take ownership of core technical systems. We need people with solid experience to build:

  • Gameplay Systems & Mechanics (Class synergies, ability trees, item interactions)
  • Networking & Replication (Essential for the seamless large-scale MMO architecture)
  • AI Frameworks (Creatures, factions, and world entities)
  • UI/UX Implementation (Hooking up custom, transparent UI layouts, counters, and menus)

:artist_palette: CREATIVE & TECHNICAL PIPELINE (Expanding the Team)

While our core writing and design teams are active, we are also looking for specific talent to join the production pipeline:

  • Character Riggers / Bone Riggers (Essential for character skeleton setup & animation-ready rigs)
  • VFX & Lighting Artists (Atmospheric cosmic horror & sci-fi abilities)
  • 3D Artists & Texture Artists (Environment assets, props, creatures, and architecture)
  • Sound Designers / SFX (Audio landscapes, combat sounds, and environmental depth)

:video_game: About the Game: Novasis & The Marshland Project

  • The Big Picture: Novasis is our flagship title, but it’s just the beginning. It is part of The Marshland Project—a shared, multi-game creative universe where several of our planned future games, stories, and media will coexist. We are building a long-term IP, with Novasis as our primary technical and visual foundation.
  • Class System: Highly customizable. Players combine 3 different class trees with cosmic building blocks known as Prime Essences.
  • World: Large-scale seamless maps with player-driven governance (Tribunals, Syndicates, Guild-housing, and Trade).
  • Impact: A persistent Karma & Reputation system where player choices permanently alter the world.
