hitting f11 to full screen my scene drops me to 10-15 fps in an rtx 3090 even though stretching the screen to fit full is at 80 fps.
This happens even if im looking into the empty void. It happens in both editor view and play mode.
Any ideas? Scene does have landscape tesselation but again it does this even when looking into the sky.
EDIT…. after testing other levels it does it on every level… even empty ones with a couple of props.
Im using unreal engine 5.7.1
The bug only happens in lit mode… fps is fine in unlit. Hiding all lights in lit mode doesnt help.. even though its only 1 directional light.
Also the fps is fine in standalone play mode.
Also the bug is only in epic quality.. its not in low, medium, or high scalability settings.
Ive tried deleting Saved, DerivedDataCache and Intermediate folders. Did not help… bug is only in epic and cinematic quality settings… and only in fullscreen mode… not if you drag the size of the screen to be almost full screen.
