HISM in Blueprint are now editable outside the blueprint

Hello,

With 5.4, when I place a Blueprint instance in my scene that contains an HISM, I can move the instances of this HISM directly from the scene. If I click on an object belonging to the HISM in the blueprint, I can move it independently of the blueprint from the scene editor.

In 5.3, if I clicked on an object belonging to the Blueprint from the Scene Editor, it selected the Blueprint in its entirety and when I moved it, it moved the Blueprint.

Is this an undeclared feature or a bug? And if it is a feature, is there a way to lock the Blueprint and protect it from being modified from outside the Blueprint editor?

Thank you.

I think you might be referring to something that’s been around for a while now.

It’s been possible ( since a recent editor / engine version ) to double-click blueprints, and move their components parts around independently.

Like you say, I’m not sure if it’s by design

There’s also a key combo ( not sure what ) that I hit accidentally, and every time I ALT-drag a mesh, it makes an instance, rather than a copy. No apparent way to turn it off, apart from removing it and starting again…
