Looking for a programmer experienced with Unreal Engine 4 to work on gameplay mechanics. Our game is about 70% complete and we need 1 programmer experienced with UE4 on board. Job is remote only for paid. Potential on-site relocation to the USA if we do royalty/paid combo. The project works online using an Amazon Gamelift and Gamesparks DB combination setup. Health, Stamina systems work. Weapons and damage work. Perk and Character Upgrade systems work. Thirst and Hunger systems working. Swimming working. Building system, Animal AI, and Item Spawning systems are currently being worked on. You’d specifically fix bugs and create gameplay perks for our character classes.
We try to use as few blueprints as possible and are looking for someone actually experienced with the engine. If you’re interested please send over a UE4 project for our coding lead to review and decide if we’d like to work something out with you. You should also be experienced with replication and should have worked with it in the past. Work with client/side prediction is always a plus.
