Hight for walls with FPS

How high should the walls be for a map?
Right now there 512 in the maze I am making.

Well, as High as you want them? I guess.

To the limits of your PC and The engine itself taken into effect of course.

It’s really up to you as long as it’s not too low I guess. As far as I know 100 units in unreal = 1 meter, so you can likely use that as a guide. if you make a wall that is 200 units tall it will be 2 meters in height.

Basically, with the current wall height you have, 512 units will translate into 5.12 meters. Another thing to note is the unreal engine character is roughly around 190 units tall which translates roughly into 6 feet and 2 inches. I hope that information helps you gauge and make better decisions in regards to sizes. :slight_smile:

It really depends on the style, architecture and the gameplay. Generally youll want to go with real world measurments, I generally use 300 units (cm) for the interior walls.
