Highlighting object under cursor selection

Hi, Im trying set up a way to highlight a mesh when hovered over, and return it back to normal afterwards. The way we’re importing the meshes means we cant add a separate material for every mesh, and the change in material needs to be a fade on a timeline node - this is where the problem is…

If I move the cursor from one object to another it interrupts the reverse of the timeline, causing the previously highlighted object to stay highlighted.

This is driving me insane - Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Think I’m necroing the thread, but why not just save the previous object as a variable and then fire the remove event when you highlight a new object if the previous object exists?
