Higher Dimensions in Unreal

Hi there,

I came upon this work that a bunch of researchers have made, (link below) basically they managed to create a ‘3D’ VR experience that obeys the laws of hyperbolic space.
I was wondering if any of you knew a way of editing the parameters of the unreal engine to create an additional plane for, say, 4 Dimensions to operate in the game.

The game Miegakure and 4D Toys seem to be able to operate at this level and I would love to know if this would be possible in Unreal, if not, possibly in Unity? or created from scratch in OpenGL?
I’m aware of the naivety of my question and greatly appreciate any help in this,
