High Quality Terrain Asset Pack & Tutorial Series

Hi,

Not being funny but if you think “Absolutely amazing! Really good work!” why Have been causing such an with that other guy whos decided to copy exactly my product down the the types of packs, amount and making it $40 rather than the $50 dollars i was going to charge. That guy was clearly trying to destroy 6 months of work on my part. Even saying on these forums i don’t care if you buy my Packs just don’t buy Kingbadgers, Their trash and will just make you project never succeed.

You then started a thread about the value of market place content, that I made clear i was working on these packs and 25 terrains per pack plus video tutorials, base files, Blender files for end user modification. That works out $2 per terrain BEFORE epic even take a slice at 30%.

Ive been a productive community member on here, Done free video tutorials for people (I was the first person on the WEB to do a Blender character creation, Animation, Mocap retargeting and fixing before export series to help out my fellow Indies on here when not a single other person knew how to get Characters out of Blender. Helped people by mail the lot.

Now ive just seen you started a thread selling 50 terrains at $10 just to make a point and get one over that other guy you’ve been warring with. But that also means you ******** me over, Your WM work may only take an hour but with the complexity of my setups with custom made macros and filters takes about 2-3 hours to just render out base maps from there. Then i have to put the time into creating the photoshop composite file which uses all those lovely original maps from WM. Then Blender 3D scene files pre setup for rendering and hand sculpting / modifying and even mixing more than one map from the packs into a brand new map so you never end up as end user with something someone else has who purchased the packs.

It’s basicly a good days work to get that all done for each of my Terrains. I don’t just press a generate button, there designed and hand crafted. Before even then seting up the UE worlds.

But you had to be the big man, and say well screw guy ill do it for a price that can never make any financial sense for someone like me that spent 6 months doing work. Your work and othe other guys are not my quality but doesnt change the fact in my eye’s you’ve both personally attempted to put me in a situation that i can never make a penny from my hard work. from so called community members is disgusting.

And your now probably gonna get your wish as there is absolutely no point releasing my packs and tutorial series now you’ve done . For the quality of work and detail, Video explanation tutorials that I impart my workflow and tool use that others don’t have and are not available anywhere else on the web for a reason as ive taken the time to develop them from scratch. Selling just a handful is not an option, the only reason i was willing to sell so cheap anyway was because i wanted to help my fellow devs on here but would need to sell high volume to make any money. But for such a low return and as soon as even 1 Pack is sold open to being pirated makes it impossible.

And i wont be creating ANY content for market place ever again, what’s the point putting in so much time and effort when type of thing happens. All means is market place will be full of rubbish content because no one with any common sense would ever bother creating those high quality/value assets when some dinlo’s can come across and make your work worthless to be spiteful.

Ive been working with Epic to get these done for over 6 months, Epic contacted me to sell my products even before Market place was made public. Now what’s the point.

PS as far as i understand it’s against WM term and conditions to supple WM files, which is why I spoke to epic about months ago. Even if that’s changes i still wouldn’t do it and Steven the guy that built WM company is only a small business and i Dont want to hurt his income. Providing WM files is just an incentive for people to pirate his software instead of legitimately purchasing it and learning the tool for your self.
