Just wondering if its possible to export a point cloud from RC that is as high resolution as wanted. Currently it only allows exporting the point cloud as xyz from the alignment tab. Would be very happy with a really high point count

Sort of… except support is limited to XYZ. I read in another thread that E57 support is nearly done. Maybe add that to export as well?
That feature would be great!! it would make a big expand in software that can take Rc data.
Hi Aure,
you can export a high-res point cloud too. It’s just a little bit hidden. Click export mesh and select “(xyz) XYZ Point Cloud” in the file type combo box.

E57 Import is relatively easy but Export will be impossible as the resulting pointcloud and images are not gridded or sphercical
