Hiding spline meshes at a certain distance?

Hi,

I’m on version 4.21.2 and I made some roads using landscape splines. I made some LODs for the roads and everything is working fine. The question now is, even with the simplest LOD, at a certain distance it becomes unnecessary to have it in the scene at all as it cannot be seen.

As you can’t simply import an empty mesh, how do you completely hide the last LOD so nothing is shown at all?
