Hello, I’m wondering how I can achieve only the arms of the character to be visible. I’ve been trying to hide the other bones using the “Hide bone by name” method. However, since the arms are located beneath the spine bone, I’m having difficulty hiding the upper torso. When I hide the spine bone, the arms also get hidden as they are below the spine. So, according to the Epic skeleton, I only want the bones “clavicle_l” and “clavicle_r” to be visible along with the bones below these.
What’s wrong with using the dedicated arms only version that the engine also provides to do this?
Hiding bones and what not (even scaling them) won’t necessarily prevent artifacts or stop other issues…
If the problem is purely visual (as in the end result), you can probably modify the mesh to cut out areas you want to be invisible…
