Hi, please help me with mesh import from Maya 2018

when import mesh from Maya have some problems(


Usually this doesn’t cause problems! …sometimes with high quality GI you’ll see lighting problems…
Anyway: you can go into your mesh settings (second screenshot), click on the little arrow beside “Build settings” and there will be check marks… and one of them will say use mikktspace: uncheck it! …and this should solve your problem!
…looks like your material uv channel is stretched…

ok, i uncheck what you say, but nothing happens! And yes, this two corners was extrude in Maya. Maybe i’m nead try do something in Maya?

Ok so if your problem is with the stretched texture:
You should check your 1st UV map in Maya! …I guess those parts of the object are going to be extremely stretched or even outside of the uv space… if you correct that it should be ok in Unreal too! :slight_smile:
