I work a lot in Maya-Rhino and when I transfer a non-linear model to Twinmotion I give it a mesh texture of concrete or metal, but for some reason the mesh gets distorted in topology and the accuracy of the seams gets compromised. I'm thinking maybe these seams don't need to be done in Twinmotion, but just extrude panels in the model itself rather than applying texture, but I need some advice.
Hello ,
Thank you for posting your question in the community and I recommend you apply a texture to the model in Rhino so there is a correct UV scale mapping and not just a plain color. Additionally maybe modeling the groves as you mentioned is what would work best for such geometry to best align the groves.
I also recommend you ask in the facebook community here:
