hi guy, I need a bit help, can you guy help me to pick pc config. I am looking for a build for ue5 / c++ development.

We have Ryzen 9 7950X + 5080 or the Ryzen 9 9950X3D + 5070ti. They both have the same pricing and 5070ti oc is the same as the 5080.
Which one would you picked.

Pick one with more VRAM, and do not get mobile (laptops) cards for developing in unreal.

So for you it all should be easy 5080.

Unreal does not car (much) about CPU, cares somewhat about GPU, but really cries about low VRAM.

There is no other option beside the 7900xt 20 GB or the 7900xtx 24 GB

VRAM ! ie ram in graphics card

and do not buy PCs that have like 24gb ram, because PC RAM (for motherboards) sticks are not sold in 12GB sticks. Which means 24GB = 3x8GB which is total BS, do not buy computer with 3 ram sticks it will not run in dual memory channel. Tell them you want it without any motherboard RAM and buy your own 32gb on TWO sticks. (or maybe give correct specs for your PC, you may be misreading them).

ps is that LAPTOP or DESKTOP PC ?

Yes, the most I can get is 96 GB of ram for AM5 ? Is it enough ? Or should I opt out for more ? I don’t think AMD board like to run at 4 stick.

Laptop with that spec is extremely expensive. I don’t have that kind of money. So I want to build a desktop

VRam = Graphics Card RAM. Nvidia 5080 has more VRAM so get that.

and get 32, or 64 GB CPU RAM

Do not get weird 20 or 24 CPU RAM sizes.
