After trying both Resonance and Steam Audio and realising that both of these technologies might be years into the future in terms of stability, I went searching and ended up with this amazing little Sennheiser plugin.
These are merely sound filters to fake 3D sound.
Can this be reverse engineered into an audio setting in UE4?
Could EPIC partner up with Sennheiser and get their plugin imported into the Engine?
The convolution reverb will make a massive difference in realism, now we just need realistic stereo.
