ZBD-05 amphibious armored rescue vehicle [2] is a combat weapon of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Marine Corps, also known as the Type 05 amphibious armored rescue vehicle, is a member of the newly developed "Type 05 amphibious armored vehicle family" of the People's Republic of China. It is similar in concept to the United States' Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV). [3]
According to December 2003, the relevant departments issued a formal development notice on the 05 car. The Type 05 is actually four variants: one is an amphibious armored assault vehicle; Type II is an amphibious armored infantry fighting vehicle; Three types of amphibious armored command vehicle are developed on the basis of two types of vehicles, and four types of amphibious armored rescue vehicles are developed on the basis of one type.
The vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic crane after removing the turret, and the vehicle participated in actual combat exercises during the landing drill of Jiaolong 2010.

根据2003年12月有关部门下发了关于05车的正式研制通知公函。05式实际上是四个型号：一型为两栖装甲突击车；二型为两栖装甲步兵战车；在二型车基础上研制了三型的两栖装甲指挥车，在一型基础上研制了四型车的车两栖装甲抢救车。
车上部除去炮塔后配有一液压吊车，蛟龙-2010登陆演习中本车参与实战演练。
