CNS Fujian [24] of the People's Liberation Army Navy (CNS Fujian [24], hull number: 18, abbreviation: Fujian) is the first cataphore-type aircraft carrier fully designed and built by China.
Fujian has a long flight deck with a straight through plane, electromagnetic ejection and blocking devices, and a fully loaded displacement of more than 80,000 tons. [2] As the world's first aircraft carrier to adopt conventional power electromagnetic cataption technology, the ship not only passed the steam cataption stage, but also demonstrated the advantages of conventional power, known for its efficient energy storage and excellent system stability. In December 2022, it was listed as one of the "Top ten Central Enterprises in 2022". [8-9] On the morning of May 1, 2024, the Fujian warship of the Chinese Navy went out to sea for its first voyage test; [18] On May 8 of the same year, the Fujian completed its first eight-day voyage test mission and returned to the wharf of Jiangnan Shipyard.
