Anyone have any insight on how the Override Settings on the Sky Spheres work mainly the color overrides. No matter what what colors I set them nothing seems to change.
The colors are all calculated and assigned to the sky material based on the selected directional light actor (under “Default”). Scroll to the bottom under “Blueprint” and hit “Edit” to see how it is all put together. In the “Create Dynamic Material Instance” node at the far left of the “ConstructionScript” you can also find a reference to the material used for the sky if you want to see how that works as well.
If you uncheck “Colors Determined By Sun Position” (under “Default” as well), you can set the override colors to whatever you want.
Alright I will check that out sounds like what I’m looking for.
