I’m new to Unreal Engine trying to make a 2D sidescroller.
I’m trying to make a spider-like enemy that hangs in the ceiling and once he sees the player he’ll come dashing down to hit him, if he misses he’ll return to his original place, if the hits he’ll stop where he hit the player and return to where he was in the start.
I’m currently using “Move Component To” since looking at it at a glance it seemed like the right thing to use (please correct me if theres a better way to do this).
My problem is that not only does the spider go though the floor when moving I’m having a really hard time setting up the logic so that when he does hit/finish he goes back to his starting place.
