I am trying to rig a bird wing in Unreal. I made the mesh and rig in blender and imported to UE5 with no IK applied, nothing but the bare rig parented to the mesh. No bone constraints, nothing. The root control works, but when I connect the Get Body control to the set transform node, the mesh becomes tiny and sticks to the body control sphere. Why is it resizing? How do I prevent it from resizing? I am using this tutorial:
If its relevant, the topology on my feathers is planar trash that I had to decimate a lot to get a low enough poly count (Zbrush to blender), and I may have forgotten to apply all transforms when resizing in blender. Is this potentially the problem? Has anyone else had this problem with non-human rigging?
