[HELP] Weird "crawling black mass" obstructing viewport in packaged VR game

I’ve spent a while searching for others with this issue, but I haven’t had any luck.

Notes:

  • This problem only occurs in packaged builds - play in editor works fine.
    -If I slowly look away, the black mass slowly crawls to cover the viewport

  • If i suddenly turn away from the “mass” it goes away

  • This happens in multiple scenes

This is really weird, especially the fact that it appears only in the packaged experience and that it goes away if you turn… Can you relate it to any mesh in your level? Something linked to timing or positioning of your VR Pawn?
