Help STOP Flying when jumping?

hi all new here… im trying to make a map… but when i try to jump in the editor i just jump in the air and float there then i click space bar again and it just goes up… and i can look up and hit W and it will fly too… so i compiles it and started the game… and its doing the same thing like im in no clip… how do i stop this ? thank you all oh and i have not messed with player setting… i dont think… im not used to UE5 only 3dsmax

This could be caused by a few reasons.

  1. Are you setting the character movement mode to flying anywhere?

  2. Is your gravity scale set to 1?

If you could post a picture of your blueprint showing how you are handling the jump that might make it easier to find the problem.

hey… its just the default settings and player… i just hit play and i fly… i have not made any blue prints just some walls and a roof… i hit play and i kinda go through the floor but not all the way… the enemy i have can run around no problem… but now he cant even move idk whats going on… i uninstalled and reinstalled and started from scratch… it was working then all of a sudden did it again out of nowhere

Do you have “enable gravity” set on the character class and/or it’s components
