I have a problem with RVT on a project, I moved the entire project (mesh, textures, landscape etc…) to another project and my landscape is all pink, what could have happened ?
it’s aquixel mastermaterial that used to work on the previous project
(it was applied on the same landscape, and with RVT deactivated it works).
If you mean that you moved you proyect from UE4 to UE5 sadly it is quite common for things to break because reasons. It is never recommended, in any game engine or anything really, to upgrade a project from one engine version to another because there are always incompatible configurations, details or lines of code.
I honestly recommend you to see the possibility of starting from scratch using the same assets, I have seen many users asking about many different problems caused by updating the engine and the solution is always a “patch” and ends up breaking elsewhere.
It is never fun to start from scratch, but it is my recommendation if you want to have your project without any problem.
Nope ! It was on the same version, the project was just moved to another project for optimizing its size, but the assets,landscape,materials etc were the same ! It was the RVT references that was broken, i re-configured everything and it worked for the landscape !
But I have an auxiliary problem : my project now has veeeeeery small reolution for meshes and shaders (like everything was LOD 128665) and I can’t find why…
And the perfs are horrible (barely 2-3FPS while in unlit mode)
