Help problem merged cloud point

Hello to all.
I just bought the license for 90 days and I’m doing the first tests with this program before I used Agisoft with rotary table method, my way of working is as follows: 360 ° snap pictures of an object at various angles then I rotate the object of 180 ° to acquire also the part that rested on the floor. in Agisoft I created two distinct clouds points (CHUNK) would delete the parts that touched the floor and then merged into one clowd point for generated the complete object, how can I do this in reality Capture?
Thanks in advance
Nicola

Hi Nicola Buttignol
try using a MASK before importing it into RC and then combine them together with the control points’ workflow

hi Wishgranter
thank you for reply.
with “try use MASK” you mean mask every photo manually? because It is what I want to avoid, every object have 140 shoots with a complex outline.

Nicola

Hi Nicola Buttignol
Yes, you would need to mask every single image.
If your data are properly captured, try changing the IMAGE OVERLAP (in ALIGNMENT settings) from MEDIUM to HIGH, so that RC uses the “central” part of an image and you could solve the background alignment issues…
Try the Control Point workflow and when you get into some issues, post here some screenshots…

ok
i will try. thank you for your help
Nicola

this is my problem. if i use all photo together this is the result.

i need to remove the parts marked in red.
that are the photos used for object

i took shots with rotary table for various inclination angles, inverting object for take also a back part…

Hi Nicola Buttignol
This sort of issues needs to be removed in post-processing. I highly recommend you to rethink the capturing scenario so that you do not get in this sort of mesh issues… some better holders for the subjects…

hi Wishgranter
i understand but if i want aquire entire model top and bottom i need to invert object position… i don’t know other mode, in other cases I did not need the caliper but I could not take off the white floor…

Hi Nicola Buttignol
It’s about finding the perfect workflow that includes stuff like this… If you do a lot of this subjects, contact me at milos.lukac@capturingreality.com for deeper discussion.

Hi Wishgranter
i sended you a mail a cople of day ago, have you receved it?
Nicola

Hi Nicola Buttignol
