I just installed 5.5 and I’m getting a similar crash on startup:

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum! Is this happening on a specific project or all of them? Also, did you make any changes, updates, etc just prior to this starting? Thanks.
I also ran into this problem, after the error appeared, any project or even just the editor version 5.4.4 or 5.5.1 crashes on the same error and in the same place for 9% of the load, only overloading Windows helps.
It helps to run the editor with the command line “-DDC-ForceMemoryCache”, as I understood it all because of the vpn
