Help! My Blend per bone is being ignored!

So I FINALLY got my animations by keystroke to work!
I cut out all Animation Montages and just had a boolen variable change when i hit a certain key.
Then the bool variable would be passed into the animation bp via casting to the character BP.
So that finally works.
BUT when I try to setup the blend per bone node and It APPEARS to be setup properly.
The animation is interrupted.
I have setup the blend per node to work on the spone_01 bone.
I’m trying to set this up on shooting while running/idle and shooing while in the air.

I’m completely stuck and don’t know what I’m missing.
Please help!
