Help Me

Does anyone know how to import USM files in unreal engine?

Hi Akio,

Instead of just saying "Help Me’, the topic line is a place to summarize the question or statement you have.

It looks like USM is a video file. You’d want to convert it to a supported format for use with UE.

Cheers.

You’re welcome.

I don’t know anything about encrypting/decrypting pak files, but a search with the terms “encrypt unreal pak files” shows that there is some encryption built in. (Unsure if it would protect against viewer software you mentioned though)

Good luck.

I still can’t import the USM file

Hello

What type of video format did you convert it to?

Goodbye

I converted MP4 to USM then I couldn’t import it

Ah, you should just leave it as an MP4. I’d try using the new Media Plate system in UE. (There is an older system that is harder to set up)

Oh, so you’re talking about replacing a video file in an existing game. I wonder how the developers managed to use .USM files…

I’d try asking about this on the Efootball 24 discussion boards.

Good Luck!

I don’t know how, can you help me?

I cannot help you. It looks like the people who made that soccer game used some middleware video software that I am completely unfamiliar with.

There’s some guides in the link I linked that might guide you.

Goodbye.

Sorry, where can I get the USM plugin for UE4?

Hello again,

This CRIWARE plugin is the closest thing I can find to what you’re describing.

When I click on the Hyperlink for what I assume to be the download, it takes me to a login page. So you might need to be a customer of CRIWARE to download their plugin.

Even with the plugin, I’m not sure you’d be able to change the intro video in an existing game.
