Help Making Real Time Terrain Hole Volumes Please?

I am trying to figure out how to get a volume that I can attach to a blueprint and when colliding with terrain makes a see through and collision free area in the terrain. A hole basically.

The purpose is for when the character creates a structure, trap, or what ever else that a deep hole is needed and can be made in the terrain while setting a model in its place to cover it up. This allows for making a spike trap that you can actually fall into, houses that you make that can extend down into the terrain and so on.

Could anyone please help with this? I am not too sure how to achieve it…
