Hello everybody,
I’ve been trying to get destructible meshes (DM) to work.
For some reason one of my DM is doing what it’s supposed to, yet the others are behaving totally different.
What I want is for the DM to stick to other static meshes (world support) and only fracture where it gets impacted.
In the sample project I attached, the garage door is behaving as it should, but only most of the time, sometimes it looses world support connection and just flys away.
The other meshes are the Windows and the Door (the door is not set up to have world support right now, but I have had the settings the same as the garage door and it was still not working)
If anybody could help me that would be greatly appreciated!
Since my game is mostly finished, all I need to work out is have the DM’s work properly
Anybody who helps just in the slightest will be credited in the released game (I know thats not much a reward, but thats all I can offer).
If you could point me to a proper tutorial (written or video) that would help a bunch as well!
All I found are outdated tutorials
I hope I have given you guys enough details about my issue, if not, please let me know and I will reply as soon as possible!
(Also, the errors that occur when playing in editor only happen on this test project, not in the actual project, so that shouldn’t be an issue)
