Hello guys, i would like to know if there is some sort of configuration i do have to do to have high fps in my imported heightmap… im using kite demo, as the main material of the landscape, but, when i import the map (4096x4096) to it, i got frame rate like 20fps only at the map and some material from kite demo… how they can render/load that size of map with good fps and i don’t

I’ve already tried, cull distance, but with out sucess, can you guys please share some information about it? i would like to create a “round mesh” and the engine just draw what is inside of it, and outside of it create a fog to blur the players camera…
I dont know how they made the material for the kite demo (still havent tested it out), but it could be that they use tessellation or parallax shading which isn’t so good for your performance -> the easiest way would be that you just create your own landscape materials, because the ones from the kite demo, are not directly for games
i did understand, i got that procedural nature pack too, using that material, the fps drops as using the kitedemo material, only 15/20fps, there is no way to cull distance render/draw the map? by sectors maybe… idk (the procedural nature material has tesselation, so beautifull, thats why i bought it and want to use in the landscape)
