hi ,i’m going to by a new computer and it has to be a because of the school so i have the choice between a dell precision m6800 and a asus g750
which one do i have to choose for ue4 and if you have another suggestion.
what are there specs?
–edit–
have you thought about buying a custom from somewhere like PC Specialist, you would be able to get a higher spec for the same price or a with the same spec for less, that’s what I am doing:).

The Nine is a desktop in a form factor. A little heavy for a laptop, but you can’t beat the power you get with it.
I bought one a few years ago. I have only had to replace 2 fans and a hard drive over the past 5 years. (Ya, I take really good care of mine, lol.)
When you post the specs when can help you to decide
Ohterwise take a look at this thread: https://forums.unrealengine/showthread.php?20643-Official-Hardware-Performance-Survey There you will find many specs and probably also something from a laptop
thanks for your replies and thes are the spec
asus g750 17.3" 16gb memory(upgradeable to 32) nvidia gtx870 6go i7-4710qm windows 8.1
and the dell precision m6800 is 17.3" 16gbmemory amd firepro m6100 2go ddr5 i7-4800mq windows 8.1
I know you you said you need a laptop, but I think you would be better off getting a cheap laptop, and then getting a desktop as well. This would be cheaper in the long run, as you can update a desktop, piece by piece.
Even if you do go for a laptop, don’t forget to get a monitor, too. Having a second screen will make you far more productive.
oh yeah that for you one must have thing ^^
but i really cant have a desktop (not now ) because i move a lot and im rarrly in my home and i need quit good for shcool^^
My is an MSI GT702PC with the same specs as this ASUS. UE4 works great on this model, with 55-60 fps and nice fast C++ compiles. You can see my benchmarks on the benchmark thread posted by someone here.
asus g750 seems better then the other one, i would go with that
thanks guys for your replies reaaly helped me a lot very awesome community
