I have my set up a little different than you do, but I have the sound node before the branch and it works fine.
Can i see your blueprint? For me its making the same sound even if the door its not moving
I moved the nodes around so it could fit. But this is the BP for the door itself.
Here is the link to the tutorial I watched to help me set up the BP for the door. And then I just added the sound. And it plays when the door opens like I want.
