Unreal doesn’t do SLI, so having two cards won’t help. Get a GTX970 or 290X ideally, or a 290 otherwise.

You’ve gone for a good amount of RAM, but I’m not sure your CPU will support that speed (2133). You’ll need to research that, as my experience with AMD is limited to GPUs, so I can’t help with the mobo either. :frowning:

I personally would go for Intel, not AMD, for the CPU but I admit, I haven’t seen the figures to back this up.

PSU seems a bit overkill (but I like the make), but this maybe because you are going for an AMD CPU, which takes a LOT of juice to run.

I can’t advise on the case, sorry.

Good point, The black will only do 1866. Missed that in the description. Will down grade that.

Changed out the 2 x GTX 750 ti and put in one GTX960 ITX, and replaced ram with 1866.

Within a couple of dollars, same price.

I ran the High Power unit, due to the fact the mother board is capable of 3 x crossfire, when I added 3 x GPU - 500 watts, CPU another 125 Watts, liquid cooling, fans and drives. So future proofing.

Going to benchmark and see what I can find.

The CPU has a benchmark of 8996, check out Intel I7 4790s 3.1Ghz 9403, nearly 70% more for about 5% gain.

Still a lot of head scratching to do.

Thank for the answer

I know it’s about sticking to a budget, but is there anyway you could upgrade to a 290 or 970 or 290X? The 960 only has a 128-bit interface, which may be a bit small for you.

I still think you should go for a better card, and downgrade the mobo. I don’t like SLI/crossfire anyway, but there is only one good kind of threeway, and it is not SLI or Crossfire related. You can save the money you need for a better card, by getting a mobo without triple Crossfire (even if you only get twoway. You may be able to knock off almost $200 off the cost of your PC by doing that), and PSU (not that you should ever skimp on a PSU, but you can get a less powerful version of the same model, as you will only need one card.

Either way, good luck with it, and let us know how you get on.
