I installed the datasmith plugin in archicad 26 and it doesn't load correctly I work on a Mac Studio, Twinmotion 2022.2 and unreal engine 5.0
after all the
excitement i get this and cannot move past it.
I only select AC26 (have tried AC25 abd it does not make a difference)
and then i get this frustrating little screen and that is it that file does not exsit on my pc.
pretty much the end of the installation
can't seem to get rid of it as even when i try to uninstall it i get the same message.
works fine on the other pc here in the office but seems its looking for that _4_27 file and that for some reason has dissapeared.
tried to find it in the epic games website but no luck yet.
Hi there, I tried this morning to install the plug-in for Archicad 26 on Mac Os, unfortunately, I have tried both ways and the outcome is always the same: "This file is an outdated Add-On that cannot be used in this Archicad version...
Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for posting in this discussion and the Archicad 26 ARM version is not yet supported by the plugin. We are actively working on it and expect it to be available with the official release of 2023.1.

There has to be a better way. I finally got this to work after 8 hours of work.:
1. You have to delete the existing datasmith file first in archicad and the manually add the add on in.
2. Then after that, the only way to connect is using the archicad datasmith palette that you must add with the pull down window menu. By making a datasmith file in archicad first that you save in a folder somewhere.
3 Then you open Twinmotion and add the geometry first using your datasmith file you save in a folder.
4 Then you direct link you archicad file...but it seems to select an older file unless you close all your files first and restart your computer so it gets the new file.
Then add more frustration, when you save your files and reopen them , the link disappears and you need to do this all over again!!
So, unless you feel like redoing your twin motion work all over again every time you open and close, I don't see the point of a direct link when you lose all your twin motion work because the link goes away and you need to start from zero.

I have been trying to install the datasmith plugin on archiicad 26 and it won't load. Is that why the plugin doesn't work on archicad 26, do we have to wait for version 23 of twinmotion?
Strange....It's working fine for me. Although I do have the solo version of AC26.
Have you tried removing all previous Datasmith plugins, before installing the new one?
