Hello,

is it possible to read my twin motion files on the stand alone headset (oculus quest 2, without connecting to pc), to show projects while on tour?

It would be so helpful and great!

Best regards,

Louis

Twinmotion is too resource-consuming to run on the Oculus Quest 2 standalone, however there's something called 'Air Link' which is a beta feature of the Oculus (you'll have to google it to set it up). It basically allows you to connect to a PC via Wi-Fi. This means that wherever you go with your VR set if you have a good enough Wi-Fi connection you can stream Twinmotion to your Oculus.

It works surprisingly well and is the closest you'll get to using Twinmotion on the go. The downside is that you have to have some sort of device with you (a laptop, a tablet/phone) in order to control your 'home' PC somehow to turn the VR on remotely - I do it using TeamViewer.

Hey,

thanks a lot for your quick answer!

I tried it today and was also able to set it up quickly...i probably don't have a very good Wi-Fi connection so no satisfying result. But thanks for your advice - maybe i'll check it again under better wifi circumstances. By chance, do you know if it is at least possible to export and load VR Images (360degree) or VR Videos from Twinmotion to Oculus Quest 2?

Thanks again for your help!
