So I wanted to make a game that revolves around procedurally generated areas, the thing is the only tutorials I found ware for open games, but I have something different in mind.
Is it possible to have a procedurally generated “dungeon” style rooms (so random rooms with random sizes etc.) but also that are sticking to a template like sometimes there will be this specific room but always in like a brick pattern (that was just to visualize it). Well the easiest way to explain what I have on my mind is a backrooms style randomly generated areas, so they have a theme but no real rules. Was just wandering is this even possible? Am using UE5 BTW
Thanks in advance
You can definitely do this. I made a garden maze that was completely procedural for my game. But you really need to focus the requirements down before anyone can really give any meaningful advice.
Each room, for instance, can be a blueprint. But it depends on many things.
In the meantime, take a look at this amazing tool

Thanks for help, but am looking for something different
Unless I read the thing wrong, there is no way of making the world, and it seams like there is no possibility of the world being significantly different every time, but thanks for the suggestion!
Oh dang I only saw the preview one and not the UE5 one, it seams like something i have been looking for, thanks then.
Have a good one!
And thank you once again!
