Hello I am making a map and need some help.

So I have been following Whut’s tut’s on youtube. I came to a part in the build to where I wanted to see the water level and implement the ocean. When adding the PostProcessVolume for the water around my smaller island the screen would turn black. Well I have fixed this but a new problem has arisen. Now when I go into the PostProcess area the island is cut off at eye level with a blue hue under it. Any advise and help is greatly appreciated.

It is set on Gaussian blur right? Also confirm the focal distance is correct.

Yes both are correct. I am actually past this problem on to the next. I keep getting this error when I try to test in editor. “One or more blueprints has an unresolved compiler error, are you sure you want to Play in Editor?”, I have emptied my map all the way down to just the landscape and post processing. Still catching error.

Yeah i had that issue too… basically you need to go on the levels editor and click on the icon to enter the ‘Level Blueprint’. Here is where you set various conditions for weather, day/night cycles, caves, underwater bla bla bla… chances are you have a problem there.

How did you solve it?

Okay got it thanks so much. This entire community is awesome.

Didn’t really solve as I was told no-one really understands it. so I used a tutorial island level that had the water already set up and pasted my landscape into it.

That works too
