hearbroken over epic game mega grant rejection after 5 years of work

I really can’t understand why they rejected my game for a grant when it was such a low amount of money I asked for 4000 for an animation program license and so that I can pay the voice actors have never shared much with the public about my game as I feel it will spoil too much and spawn a lot of clones like that time PT by hideo kojima was released, my game contains lots of good level design animation characters story music events exploration puzzles enemies, I really don’t understand the rejection I feel like I have to write a letter to tim sweeny and ask if he can’t fix their mistakes, like WTF and one of the worst things is that they don’t even explain why just a few simple lines of text, fell like the had monkey to review the different projects or run all the games through like tiktok videos skip skip skip, the could have easily just film the review and people could get feedback, maybe i care too much it’s just hard when you’ve spent so many 1000 hours several years we’ve even gotten well-known musician to make music for it.

2 ideas i had making a new game for free big concert nice music and a Big ■■■■ You EPIC GAMES for not helping us in the end of the concert song would be pretty fun

another idea we want an epicgame banana in all future games we make now since it’s monkeys that review game projects like dopefish.

i know i might be overreacting a little but i’m not ashamed to be sad about something i care about with all my heart. this will be part of our story and we will tell about it in the future.

if you have had a good project rejected and are sad about it i understand you 100 percent and will also encourage you to be strong willed it’s you who decides whether you will succeed not Epic prove them wrong.

In general we have received very positive feedback from earlier gamjamgames and very positive feed back from the few selected gameplay testers of the game and I am very grateful for their good and positive attitude towards it and the development.

I will leave a video with some motivation from Brendon Burchard

Godspeed out there.
