Health HUD

Hello everyone! I’m here because I need a help in something (that I think it’s) easy. I’ve a health bar in my HUD blueprint, but I don’t know how decrease it when my character receives damage. What’s the most simple way to make the communication between the HUD blueprint and the character blueprint? I’ll need of a interface blueprint?

what ever is giving damage make sure its subtracting the health.its best to make a function for this so you can call it from anywhere, also make sure your health variables are part of your character blue print.
