Headless CLI licensing broken?

Hello!

We have automation that runs realitycapture for photogrammetry workflows. We activate our license token in one step, and then run subsequent processes to do all the steps in the workflow.

Recently, there’s a pop-up when you first open realitycapture, informing you of the new processing model. Unfortunately, when you’re using the headless CLI activation method this seems to block things. My CLI just hangs forever…

Is there a CLI flag to force accept this notice? I run these workflows on ephemeral cloud servers and need to be able to reliably launch realitycapture from a fresh machine every time many times per day, so manually going through this GUI flow is unacceptable :frowning:

Hi blue_misfit,
this pop-up is to inform you about the future changes. It is showed once per a day on the machine (if you do the new activation) and it is not possible to turn it off for now (as you are using still a new machine).

Darn. This totally breaks our workflow using ephemeral headless cloud servers since we can’t actually do a headless activation anymore. Is there any workaround?

The message shouldn’t be showed in headless mode now. Can you try and let us know?

This does appear to be resolved! Thanks for the quick turnaround.
